Ever wonder how TO-A-T Moving and Transportation began?
It all started back on Valentine’s Day 2022, with our founder Troy P. Campbell III, who already had more than seven years of moving experience. He decided to build something meaningful — a moving company founded on trust, reliability, and heart.
Right before launching TO-A-T, Troy faced a life-defining moment. While working for another moving company, he met an elderly customer who was left stranded mid-move when her movers quit halfway through the job. Rather than walk away, Troy did what he knew was right — he and his crew stayed behind, finished the move, and ensured her belongings made it safely to California.
That act of integrity led directly to TO-A-T’s creation just 13 days later.
Since then, we’ve grown beyond Kansas City and proudly expanded to serve the entire DMV region — continuing to live by the same principle that started it all:
“Do it right. Do it with integrity. Do it To-A-T.”
